Simpson University named 173 students to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.

Simpson University awarded diplomas during an April 27, 2019, commencement ceremony to 100 traditional undergraduate students who completed their degrees during the spring 2019 semester.

Several local residents made the academic Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University. These students are honored for a fall 2018 grade-point average of 3.5 or better. They are joined by 1,976 students receiving the same honor.

Six students were inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society chapter at Simpson University. To be eligible for Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society for history, a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours (4 courses) in history, achieve a minimum GPA of 3.1 in history courses, and an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.

Simpson University's Michelle Brady received the 2017-2018 Alumni Association Community Service Award.

Five students were inducted into the Alpha Chi Honor Society campus chapter at Simpson University. To qualify for Alpha Chi, a student must receive an invitation from a faculty member and reside in the top 10 percent of juniors, seniors, and graduate students at his or her college or university.

More than 100 Simpson University students on 15 WorldSERVE teams traveled around the world in spring and summer 2016 to provide service to different communities.

In a ceremony on Saturday, April 30, 2016, over 500 Fort Lewis College graduates and their families packed Whalen Gymnasium for Spring Commencement. The speaker chosen to offer the Commencement Address was Colorado's Lieutenant Governor, Joseph Garcia.

Over 450 students were named to Fort Lewis College's Dean's List for the Spring 2016 semester. These students took at least 15 credits of gradable hours and achieved a 3.60 or higher grade point average.
